Ray Prescott Memorial Golf Tournament
and
Celebration of Life Ceremony
February 9th, 2012
THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT GOLF:
- Check in begins at 6:30am; you can prepay golf fees on
Wednesday afternoon
- Look for volunteers who will direct you to cart staging areas
based on your starting hole. Course carts will also be staged for
front or back nine start
- The Eagles Nest will open early for the purchase of coffee, pastry,
or several breakfast specials; the refreshment cart will also be on the
course during play
- Pay for golf first, then go to the Scorers table to pay $5 for the
Prize Kitty and to get your Tournament Scorecard.
- Then move along to buy 50 / 50 Tickets, exchange cash for
Mulligans, and signup for the Long Drive Contests. All 50 / 50
Tickets must have your name & tel # on the back, just deposit them
for the drawing before noon
-Finally, feel free to buy 3, 6, or 9 warm up balls to hit wedges at
the Raft before heading to the putting green (also play the Raft as
you turn from #18 to #1)
- Familiarize yourself with the info sheet given to you with your
scorecard.
- Please total your score in the box indicated; leave card at the
Scorers table
Winners of the 50 / 50 Drawing and Golf Prizes will be posted at
the HOA Lobby prior to the Memorial
CELEBRATION of LIFE CEREMONY:
The Memorial of Ray's Life will begin at 2pm in the Ballroom.
Dress is golf casual with light food and drinks provided by the
Sunshine Committee.
Everyone who knew Ray is invited.
Monies raised from the Golf activities will be a donation in Rays
name to The Growing in Faith fund for St. Juan Diego Catholic
Church
