Springfield is an Active Adult Gated Community of 742 single family homes built in the late 1990's around an 18 hole par 61 public golf facility. Amenities enjoyed by every resident include outdoor Tennis, Swimming, Bocce, Shuffleboard, Horseshoes and Bike/Running paths. Inside the 2 Recreation Centers are a Fitness Center, a Ball Room with Kitchen, Library, Billiards and Card Rooms, Crafts Room, Theater Room and the Association offices. In January 2001, the Homeowners Association assumed control of the development, including care and maintenance of landscaping, amenities, and infrastructure. The Association is governed by an elected Board of five Directors with daily operations overseen by a full time General Manager and Staff.
